Exclamation Sudden Acceleration

Sudden acceleration during Brake Energy Regeneration (BER) is becoming a major safety issue. It happens only on uneven pavement and speeds above 30mph. The BER gets deactivated and the vehicle "sails" instead of breaking, leading to reactionary panic breaking. I had near misses of rear ending cars in front of me. I drove my activeE into the BMW service center for inspection. All systems checked normal. They also said "not to rely on the BER for breaking". I reminded them the system is called BREAK Energy Regeneration, not just Energy Regeneration, they shrugged off. After all, you can't just drive a BMW slow and on smooth roadways (this is NYC). Anyone with remedies or similar experiences?

Yes. I posted a couple of weeks ago about a similar experience under a different thread regarding a hard regen in a downhill scenario. My service appointment came back with "unable to duplicate results" and no other reported issues. Personally, I think this is a point of concern though my experience was not on an uneven roadway. My foot now always hovers above the brake peddle as a precaution.
