Secret compartment
So I got my Active E serviced for the first time and you know that red pouch with the tow hook and the screw driver that was with the car? Well it went missing. I called up the dealer and they tell me it's in the compartment where it fits - on the passenger side on top of the battery and covered. So I looked into it and sure enough there it was. See attached. Recognize the pouch? There is a compartment on both sides, but only one side has the tools. So cool...

More storage
My wife ran into another ActiveE driver the second day we had the car. He recommended removing that cover, the matching cover on the other side, and the cover over the secondary charger (which still has a cover over it) to get some more storage space. We did so, and it does work. It doesn't look quite as nice back there, but we can fit a few more items in the trunk that way.

I removed the left side cover and the cover under the top cover to make more space for my lunchbag and my extension cord. Also for a couple bucks I bought a boot tray at Bed, Bath & Beyond that fits perfectly on top of the top cover to to protect the fabric in there.
