Have all the ActiveE's been delivered?

Just wondering, have all the ActiveE's been delivered? If not, there can't be many left by now.

Not all, but we're getting very close.

I'm still holding out hope that one will get assigned to me.

Waiting delivery

I was assigned a car on 2/22, but still no delivery. 9+ weeks. Maybe I'll be the last...

Tom-
I was told by my local dealership (Concord BMW) that game is over. They were all gone and they delivered the demo unit(not sure how it was allocated). Thanks for all the support, The chatter. Along with my boss getting Volt #231 - Your support for the EV concept and my love for the BMW brand pushed me over the line for EV - so i will do the next best thing (in my review) - Volt CA-HOV coming for me - hey it is only a (PH)EV if you use the gas - let the games begin - EV with training wheels.

Again, thanks for the support and enthusiasm.
Cheers,
John

Question I'll take even a couple of months?

I'm on the waiting list, which means I will not get any of the 700 allotted, but if any of the Active-E's need to be turned in before the lease is up, I would be more than happy to fulfill the rest of that lease. even the last 2 or 3 months. I wonder how likely that would be?

John,

There were people that requested to return the MINI-E in early and some were granted and the cars re-leased. So perhaps that is still a possibility. I would hope that BMW would allow anyone who wished to return the car, for really any reason to do so because they have such a great amount of people dying for the opportunity to have one. Best of luck!

Hi John, Like you i have been sitting (well not any longer) on what I coined a few months ago, the DWL (Dreaded Waiting List).

When my dealer told me that they had to assign their demo to the last person on the approved BMW list, I resigned myself to the fact that I would not be getting an ActiveE.

On April 13th I bought a CA HOV Volt. I have a 130 mile round trip commute 3-4 times a week and have a L2 charger at my office in Irvine, CA to use free of charge. 1100 miles later in 2 weeks , i really like the Volt so far, lots of good things to say about it. Wish it had a greater Electric range, but having the ICE option is nice to have. BTW, I have used 7 gallons of gas over that 1100 miles, not as good as some, but pretty good.

I don't feel that i settled for the next best thing, but the ActiveE that is owned by someone in the building next to me and shares the same charging stations from time to time, beckons to me
every day. Wish I was part of the ActiveE crew, but maybe an i3 awaits me down the road, so to speak.

I still hope to offer to trade my new Volt with Peder Norby, aka SUNGAS, who lives near me, on a weekend where he needs a greater range, but still wants to drive an EV.

Good luck,

Gary
